I always wondered why zebras have such obvious stripes - surely that makes it easier for lions to spot them? Then I saw a herd of zebras running, and they looked like a giant moving TV test pattern. Watching them was oddly hypnotic. In this case, less camouflage = more effective!
I agree with Alex, something hidden inside the zebra pattern (unless there already Is and we all just can't see it easily!) would really push this one over the top, but as is it's a really sweet illo and nice eye trick it plays on the retinas.
This is awesome. I love the illustration. It would be really cool if it was printed in a color that was close in value to the t-shirt color so that the whole design is camouflaged. Like the background of your image above. Nice work.
