Is The Ghost of Gerstle River a folktale? It sounds like the title of a folktale.
Like the story of how Mr Dear Silhouette Antelope galloping off from a giant moon far far away on wavy noodles to sweet old planet Earth (home to kindly welcoming human beings) and blessing the Earth just because it can. I forgot the part about Gerstle River. And something about Ghost. But nevermind. Great colors, great composition, great everything. Actually I grew up close to the Gerstle River in Interior Alaska, very beautiful country, but the Army used the area in the 50's and 60's as a testing ground for chemical and biological weapons, and there is still buried barrels and crazy stuff in the woods. I was watching a lot of X-files and listening to a lot of Pixies when I drew this.
