The illustration only really only looks wearable in the black, and it looks too detailed to print (???) Anything involving the military/war isn't appealing to me although it may be to some.

It's not appealing at all... and just looks out of place on pink- 1

the outline of the figure is another problem, along with the ones choisir mentioned. i hope rick13 doesnt like the shirt because he thinks it's ugly and not because of his politics.

if it was too detailed to print it wouldnt be on the site, Threadless has to approve it first

I don't think any of us really WANT war. This message seems to suggest that we should all be happily preparing for a vicious bloodbath. It should be a reluctant, defensive effort, not a glorified, offensive preparation.

to all the angry kids out there: JOIN A DEATH METAL BAND, NOT THE ARMY.

I recommend reading Dalton Trumbo's Johnny Got His Gun to you. Please read it first, THEN try to make a war shirt.

Even if it is printable, the design, due to the overdetailed halftones, wouldn't do great on a t-shirt. It'd be good for any other support though (computer screen or poster).

Any idiot that wants to promote war on a tshirt gets a zero from me

maybe it's the opposite.........the new world order is setting the stage for world chaos so they can pick up the pieces left over after we kill each other........in order to do so, a complete economic collapse must be staged (like the great depression) supported by their new laws being passed behind the scenes, like the patriot act, homeland security........yeah, let's display US soldiers torturing arabs, what better way to flame the fire of hate..........it's a holy war, a political war, a war for world control........the world army (army of one) is actually the UN.....which will have to come to the US to "save" us from ourselves........there are concentration camps, rail cars all in place.....i've done the research, but your television, video game, radio listening asses have NOOOOOOO clue.......go back to sleep

perfect circle, radiohead.......read between the lines of their music

Okay, so you copy and pasted "but is it worth it?" in the background dozens of times, but "ready for war" is clearly the most prominent text on the shirt, and the only text that anyone can read. No, really, I'm truly enlightened... really.

i dont know whats worse. the "misunderstood artiste" with his "you didn't get it and you are all stupid and my art is too precious and heremetic for this world", or the class president saying "you shouldn't give out such a message young man because all we need is peace". so whatever, the design is terrible.

anyone who lives in the US is going to get screwed soon..........a major terrorist (so we'll think) attack will take place and martial law will be implemented............

it's hard to think isn't it

u wouldn't know if it hit u all in the face..........you'll think police rounding everyone up is in your best interest............all sitting ducks, like a frog sitting in warm water...the heat gets turned up gradually until he boils to death without noticing any difference..........IT WILL HAPPEN........sorry for being dramatic

"you guys know nothing. i won't even waste my time trying to explain this image to you." - aklectik

roflmao? That’s the biggest problem with designs (especially somewhat abstract ones), it becomes open to interpretation. A lot of people see this shirt as promoting war, or violence, or in my case it somewhat shows America's Arrogance (being a big brother to the "helpless world," policing the nation with our youth.) It's not anyone's fault, they didn't see your brilliant message and relate to it. It's not completely hopeless though, you can rework this and the text.

But damn guys, you really ripped aklec I new one, maybe he had something else in mind (but from his comments, I don’t think it’s worth the time to find out).

This design does not appear to glorify or condemn warfare.
I like the idea of the text outline, but it doesn't work very well here.
