This is a collab I did with my friend Michelle. It's spawned from an idea I had during the Slogan Club's "Space" contest, and also from centaurs being awesome.
The idea comes from an old book of stars I had as a kid, and used it's connection of the dots. We think it's a lot sleeker than the modern "teapot" shape attributed to it. For the style inspiration, click here!
FA, given that the play on words is pretty much what the design hinges on, chopping it off kinda leaves the whole piece limp.
Much as I wish we'd known about that before we put the time in (Busted, Snorg and the like aren't my bag, so I never browse them), I feel that this is dramatically different in overall execution and inspiration. If Threadless can print two (and both are amazing, but still) violent Red Riding Hoods in a couple months of each other, I don't think it'll be a problem.
It's in the voters' hands. I'd love to print. But I'd hope to do so because people truly liked this and felt it was unique. I can only cross my fingers that we did enough with the concept that it stands on its own.
oh, it stands on its own my good man, I just wanted to bring that shirt to your attention. I've owned and loved it for quite some time now, every once in a while all those secondary t sites make some great tees. I would buy yours as well!
