Is there a joke I'm missing? Why is everyone hating on this design when clearly there are other licensed characters being done in a designer's style and printed? See The Average Bear? Same concept, and this is just as cute. The corduroy flocking idea was a great one; on a brown tee this would definitely be a $5 in my book. For now it's a $4; I'd still buy it, even just on green. :) |

The average bear has a joke and a parody. This is just corduroy. You really can't tell the difference? To put it another way, if you saw this on someone, would you say "lol, that's a real bear wearing corduroys" or "hey, nice drawing of Corduroy, dude"... Average bear is not done in the designer's style so much as it is done realistically. Because this is still drawn cartoonily, it doesn't give off the appropriate parody element. |
