Sometimes living in a world between imagination and reality really weighs down on your soul. Still wish the red headed lady had a mermaid tail instead of legs, but this is amazing

Fun concept but with SO MANY characters being displayed, I think 1-2 colors & more simplistic linework and fill would have been easier to read. Actually, even making the black a light navy could work with the visuals and make it less stark because what stands out now are not the characters....but the harsh black shapes. 3

I agree with mezo, it's a lot going on for a tshirt, the shadows are a bit too harsh.

Mezo, I see what you are saying about the black elements, if this was selected for printing I'm sure Joshua could lighten them up a bit. We felt the most important thing would be to direct the action and the eye to the blackboard first to get the joke, making everything a bit darker to be seen secondary.

If you want the blackboard to be seen first you could have made THAT be the prominent black object and placed it more so it was on it's own (probably a little higher and losing the double doors behind it) and not so within the design, because it really does get lost.

When you have a ton of detail in one thing (like the characters here), it's best to leave the other stuff more simple (like the environment) To have a whole design really detailed in back, mid, and foreground can make it cluttered and you lose your focal point. Make sense?
