Unfortunately, people don't like having the comments on their design be about your design. They can't be sure if comments are sincere if they're left with an ulterior motive and frankly, defending yourself by saying you wrote "Plz" looks a little dumb when you get pissy at me when I actually took the time and effort to spell "please" properly.

Im surprised that you are so self confidence to use your your own opinions to represent other people's. If you dont like me, please dont waste your time to raise up my threat again and again, that's really the word "dumb" means. For me, I come here to listen professionals' critiques, not fighting with boring ass like you. Thanks.

i love love love! 5 for sure! the only thing I would say is, I don't think it needs the lips and the green star thing in the middle..i think it stands out too much... still an ace design though!

Can they trust the honesty of your critique if it is pegged to a link to your design? |

SquatterJohn, I critique other people's designs all the time, every morning i login threadless, with my true thought and feeling, I know other people need those critiques/ supports as well as i do, and most of my critiques are not followed by a link. But meanwhile, i'd like some feedbacks of mine when my design is in running,i would like to say that i also need other people's respect. it's just a way that I broadcast my design. I know a lot people dont like it, but im really mean to help other people when i critique other designs not make myself famous.

If you know a lot of people don't like something, please don't do it. Everyone else respects other people's designs so you should too. It's not only unfair on the artists' work you soil with your links, it's unfair on all the people who aren't getting the kind of exposure you are because they've agreed to be respectful and not link all over the place. If you want to promote this design, create your own blog in the main forum. Really, it's only polite.

Well i dont need you to teach me what to do or what not to do, i know how to broadcast my design; i have my own lifestyle, and my own way of doing things. You just take care of yourself and mind your own business.
About fairness or unfairness, there is nothing much to say. Threadless is a fair game, take it or leave it, your call. |

againstbound on Apr 20 '09 Yeah, spamming is pretty lame, and takes credibility away from your comments. How is a designer supposed to know if you left a nice comment because you like their design or just because you wanted nice comments in return?
That problem goes away if you stop posting links. Besides is way pointless, it usually brings you more negative than positive attention. And if your design is good enough you don't need to do that, people will find their way to it. |

I dont think I need to explain anything, if you can, just check my critiques i left to other people. Especially for againstbound, you can check your newest submission's comment that i left to you and tell me there is a link or not. My designs and my critiques will prove that what kind of person i am. As i said, design is design, personaility is personality, and my perosonality is --- I dont like anybody judge me. Thanks everyone.

I adore this. The green in the middle is a little bright for me, but that's it. The "Life is but a dream" quote on the bottom clinched it for me. 5$
