i really like the design and would wear it, but i hate the background and t-shirt color. it's a toss-up.

The background probably wouldn't actually be so pronounced, just some kind of distressed ink so it matches the original design.
Also, I tried some other colors but navy looked the best by far. Can you think of some others that would look better? |
