About my design
by rafie
About the design:
Look closely and you will find this is a tree made out of world map and it's fading out. Save this last tree called Earth.

Note on printing:
If possible to have the outline to be embossed with inner colour to have silk screen printing until the fading effect at the tree trunk. If it is too expensive, the design should work with just a silk screen printing or what's best for it.

Both cliches of this contest have now been combined into a supercliche that shall rule the other cliches with a hackneyed fist!

it may have been harsh, but he's not wrong. it's going to take a lot more originality to win this contest.

I take critiques positively and I don't mind losing.

Well, I just want some feedback. I know to win this contest is almost impossible (Yup, I am fully aware of that). Just want to get some feedback and hopefully delivery the green message.

It's not how good you are, but how good you want to be.

Thanks all!

Perhaps this is a better replacement

i don't think what FA said was negative.. it was an objective comment.. but i think this was a good attempt at sending the "green" message... it's a fact that globes and trees are a bit cliche for the message...

It is cliche indeed.

I think the continents are a little close together... and their placement gives the impression they are sinking or drooping.

we all learned in geography class that africa does not in fact connect to mexico.

Imagine that this is the last tree of the Earth and the branches and leaves are made of the World continents. And it's fading away. It is the reality.

- Re: Indeed tha Africa doesn't connect to Mexico, but we live in the same world. Same goes to Australia where it doesn't connect with China etc.
