ginetteginette on Apr 10 '09 could have been even more lovely if you hadn't repeated exact letters but had redrawn them slightly different (especially where it is obviously copy pasted like the 'pp' in 'happen').
it's always best to draw out the whole message letter by letter than try and emulate an already existing font. |

I love this!! Illustrated type rules the waves! It doesn't bother me about the repeated letters...I love the use of an anchor at the letter t and your octopus pondering the boat has a wonderful expression! Well done!!

so i hope you don't take our comments to heart. it's certainly not that we think this is bad work. |

-I had originally looked at making each letter different, but I was worried it would make it too confusing to read ...I will see if I have my original sketches about and post a link. ...I'm glad the octopus is getting the love! -he was my favourite to draw! cheers |

Yeah i think it looks great as it is, don't over complicate things -I'm all about pirate shirts and hand drawn type so I think this could be the best shirt ever! $5 for sure

The repeated letters make the type more legible. If they were all different it would be harder to read.
