This is a play on words, with the Palm Trees growing out of the palm, but it's more than just that. Several species of Palm Trees that grow in the Rain Forest are endangered now because of deforestation by the logging companies and farmers. We all know about deforestation in the Rain Forests, but I had never thought about Palm Trees becoming endangered, until I was doing research for this design. So, this is my submission for the Love's Green challenge! The hand represents the fact that the Rain Forest's fate depends on what we humans do, or don't do, now and in the future. There are some great non-profit organizations that are helping the indigenous people of the Rain Forests learn to harvest the products the forests produce, without cutting down the trees. They make a lot more money per acre this way and it's a sustainable way of life. One last note that I learned: Did you know that Palm Trees have been on this Earth for over 80 million years?! They had a major impact on the survival of many early civilizations and still play a very important role.



This design looks good on most colored tees, expecially gray and tan, but because the tee is small in my presentation, I chose to put it on white, so you could see it the best.
