Assault, no disrespect and opinion only. This is a kickass concept, I think if you pushed it a little bit more you could end up with an iconographic image. Personally I'd LOVE to see you push it further so the connection IS made that it looks like Earth and the other confluence of ideas ("balding" and "bawling"). You've got a strong graphic, it's simply not connected enough for my taste yet. A little more tweaking, I'd pull the screens on this one!

I didn't make it more "earth like" since adding the detail of continents and the sea would make it too complicated for my tastes, and would make the "balding" concept harder to show, what with needing to cover the continents but keep a part of them empty for the balding part.



The concept was more a "generic vegetated sphere with a bald patch" than a "balding earth", but the latter rolls off the tongue a little easier lol



As for the "bawling" thing, we don't really use that word in the UK so it's not something I even thought about before!
