Why is a polar bear playing basketball?

It's another one of those designs in which the designer somehow sees some weird connection between two different elements and goes on to design it without thinking that others just won't get it.

well erm a reason..........................They need something to do once there home is all melted ZING! right there , thats why im awesome !

I like this but the polar bear looks kind of strained... like he needs to use the facilities... you know, the little boy/bear room facilities. He needs to push something out.
