I think this is perfect threadless material
awesome work AJ - looks beautiful and the story about Kittinger is awesome 5$ |

yey it's up! thanks for the comments guys.
i could make the stars more subdued if it ever gets to print. =) |

A true work of art, and one of the few shirts that I would actually buy if it was printed. A true, honest to goodness $5 for you. Excellent job.
i love your style!!! |

FA, the third slide is a navy tee while the second is black. :)
While I agree that this tee would do well at dbh, that doesn't mean it wouldn't do well here; look at Joe's lazer-eyed cat and AJ's own recent print. If anything, this will be one of the steps that gets more seam-to-seam prints onto Threadless. I love this! $5 |
|
I'd probably prefer it if the inks didn't align, great story behind it too, great design, whether its more of a DBH tee than a threadless tee isn't really important, I still give it a $5

Thank you all!
Yeah everyone tells me all my prints should be for DBH but I'm glad Threadless prints them too=) |

Thanks thepants. Actually the funny thing is that you wouldn't know you were falling from gravity when you are in space. You'd think you're floating.
"A man in the emptiness of space would not be able to detect if he was falling from gravity. Einstein calls this..'a happy idea'." So the design kind of reflects that. But the string/chute on his back gives away the idea of the jump. Check out another vid here explaining that. It's really awesome! watch video here |

I appreciate the loves and comments everyone. Keep 'em coming. =)
It really is a great inspiring story that I hope more people learn about. |
"On August 16, 1960, Joseph Kittinger jumped from an air-thin height of 102,800 feet (31,334 meters). From that nearly 20 miles altitude, his tumble toward terra firma took some 4 minutes and 36 seconds.
Exceeding the speed of sound during the fall, Kittinger used a small stabilizing chute before a larger, main parachute opened in the denser atmosphere. He safely touched down in barren New Mexico desert, 13 minutes 45 seconds after he vaulted into the void."

2 color print..the aqua blue ink is printed on top of the light blue ink and they don't have to align.
