Ever wonder how apples are made? Here's a cutaway of an apple tree, for your visual reference.

I like this a lot (its a 4 atm), but I'd like it even more if the canopy of the tree wasn't cut off in a square shape. I think it could be cool if the branches reached over the tops of the shoulders so you see a few leaves from behind, snaking out of nowhere.
just a thought :)

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I really like how this piece turned out!

As for the squared-off composition, I feel it adds to the "mechanical" theme. Helps set it apart from those silly "organic" trees.

seems to work better as a print than a t-shirt... but really nice work.

Great stuff. 4 as is. 5 if you get rid of the squareness of the border.

This is a perfect idea for a tee! Bravo! For those who say no to the square composition...I just don't think you get just how clever it is.

love it - but the tree looks boxed in by the rectangular format which does not look like it was intended, and could be mistaken for a print size restriction. So keep the sharp angles - just avoid the straight rectangle?

I would be OK with the boxiness if it took up more shirt. Because otherwise the art is quite lovely and wearable... just too small to benefit from its shape
