That priest looks very Catholic, which makes little sense....the Catholic Church has no qualms with evolution.
It would make more sense if he was punching Kirk Cameron or Billy Graham or someone like that. |

Billy Graham - Man in a suit, Kirk Cameron - young annoying guy, Catholic Priest - one of the biggest symbols of religion on the planet. What would read quicker on a T-shirt and create the strongest concept? That's right.

Belief in evolution is one of the few progressive things the Catholic church has going for it....which is why I resent the misrepresentation. Anti-evolutionist rhetoric is perpetuated by conservative Protestant and evangelical groups who insist on literal interpretation of the bible....not Catholics.

I'm an evolutionist and not really religious at all, but I'm in agreement with julie and welshalex -- the catholic church isn't anti-evolution so the design doesn't really make sense. And when you consider that a lot of creationists are also anti-catholic, it just makes it that much more confusing.
If there was some way to make it an iconic televangelist being punched out, that would be way better. Not sure how to do that though ... |

I'd like it if it were more accurate, like people have said it doesn't really make sense and would kinda make the wearer look like an uniformed agitator. I dig the execution though.
