When cows roam free, they do not need growth hormones nor any antibiotics. This is because they can fend off the disease and stress so often found in pens on big ranches.



By roaming free, pastures are also guarded from overuse and therefore do not need pesticides and fertilizers, helping to sustain the environment.



And if you want to go further, not eating beef altogether also allows for better use of land for cultivation of other crops. I eat meat, but moderation is the key in what we all know has become an overly meat-centric diet in many countries leading to the creation of unsustainable ranches the world over.



Lastly, the slogan is a word-play to "be free" from the enslavement of unsustainable products.
