I was playing with various punctuation marks and I liked the way I could get 7 unique marks with only six "dots".

i think this design, with this color selection, would look even better on a darker background. maybe not black, but a good charcoal grey perhaps.

I think it's a really clever idea, the only thing I think holding it back is how all the dots are different colors for no apparent reason. I think it'd be a lot stronger if all the dots were just one color, probably black, which would be super easy to change and make the symbols easier to read (for me at least). Nice job nonetheless :)

Actually, I do think the colors relate, but maybe that could be pushed further?

The semi-colon is two greens, the colon is red and orange, the quotation mark is the two darkest cool colors... it's the ellipsis that's most disjointed colorwise. ...And I love ellipsis. I waste the most pixels making ellipses....
