Ravishing.

Mysterious! Emphasize the edge of the lips a little more, though.

Down10, do you mean the right side, or the entire edge?

Thanks for the comments.

Tell me what you think of the colours/contrast?

you don't need the black to actually be black. switch it with a darker shade of the hues you're already using, it won't be as jarring. also de-emphasize the eyelid on the right, makes her look beaten or drunk.

'opwie' that is so true (It kind of makes me love it more) and 'zegazong' the title was an afterthought, but I would like to know if anyone has a suggestion for the colours. I have tried orange, It worked but I don't personally like it.

I have already done a version like that 'thisisridiculous', reworked it soon after I submitted it, and I totally agree with you, on the jarring nature of the black and her bruised eye.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I want to resubmit this, so any suggestions or criticism greatly appreciated.

I like the drawing very much, at the same time agree with thisisridiculous. Give the option of two colours, orange...a pale one too, along with the green....may be it will look cool

anybody here familiar with marco almera? rock and roll poster illustrator. uses the same kind of color seperation technique as shown here (i was doing it too. marco is more famous, though, so it looks like i'm biting his style). look it up, check it out. just thought i'd throw that out there.

this is really neat............ great artwork, really really quite nice.

not sure how many people would want to wear a face on a t shirt. but i cannot deny how REALLY WELL DONE this is. a lot of people just submit junk they did in about a half hour. i can tell this took you a while.

but consider number of colors/shades. for each one, they have to make a screen, unless they do CYMK... hmm. not sure about that. but check into that, not sure how friendly they can get with those shades of green. they are all so close together, that they might have to mix the ink themselves to get the right match. you might want to experiment using different colors, not neccesarily one color with many shades.

i really really admire you for submitting in some nice work. for this, you get a 5, but i dont know how well it will work for the printing process.

Thanks vwoop. I have been experimenting with the colours a lot. When I have tried with multi-colours it gives her a cool, though strange chrome-like effect. I must say I never thought of the difficulty of printing very similar shades.

With the current new version I have also made it (in my opinion) more T-shirt friendly by swapping the t-shirt colour with the middle tone instead of the lightest which makes her blend in.

in silk screening, you do one screen for each specific color. it doesn't work by overlapping or blending tones. four colors, four screens, four individually mixed colors. it's not a problem, that's just how it's done. having similar colors doesn't make it any harder than having contrasting colors, conversely, it doesn't make it any easier by using different shades of the same color. they all get mixed to match regardless.
