I like how it's blasting over the shoulder like that, but I have to say that I don't really like the art on the hand. That is, the art style of the fire doesn't match the art style of the hand. Cool idea, though.

thanks, yeah i saw that as well. it looked alright at first then the more i looked at it after i sub'd it the less i liked that part. i made a new version with a more art brushed hand but i guess that it's too late now, ha

Not a fan of the scribbly nature of this, but i do like the placement and the way the flame both looks like it could be exiting from the wizard's fingers or challenging them.

It's a good idea that I believe needs some work. Maybe make the styles match a little bit better by redrawing the hand with a little more detail.

I am not a valid art critic. So I do not see the style difference that is mentioned.

I think I see the "scribbly" nature one critique mentions.
