Love the way you've styled these lil critters and the giant piece of octoland yummying itself with its head's contents. Great stuff!

the creatures are a bit flatter than i would like, but there's an awesome lighting illusion--related to staffel's criticism, funny enough--that makes the focus of the design stand out beautifully! 4$

Thanks, yeah I really struggeled with the under/waterthing. Tried some lines and a lot of things in critique. In the end I felt this was the best solution that mixed best with the rest of the design.

Thanks! I guess this shirt both appeal to people just looking for cute things, and to people who know I`m trying to make fun of the fact that the same creatures are being used over and over again in the design community. Fine by me!

"Inspiration" may be a euphemism for "cliche" but why pull the punch? We're all guilty of it in one form or another... it's not being able to take that criticism that's be the problem... some people can be so sensitive :)
Still, I'm new around here, are octopi the king of the well everyone draws from? Not sure why you made it the central theme. Anyway, really nice work. |

I`m note sure if octupus is the king of all cliches, Reliquum, but it`s sertainly used ALOT! I`m new here to, but I have seen dosens of octopuses already. Also, since it`s a monster, it`s popular as that too.

Cool design. I like the alien and panda. I also like the inclusion of the Russian nesting dolls. I would be neat to see something creative done with the dolls themselves, but otherwise really top notch stuff.

I`m a little surprised no one has complained about things missing from the design, I must say! "Wheres the rainy cloud and the speakers and the rainbow? etc." But in case you`re all thinking it, sorry, just not room for it all.

About my design
This is ment more as a tribute of these glorious beasts than a poke. Hope your not offended people!
It´s a Unichorn, panda, monster, zombie, whale, dinosaur, birds, trees, octopus/monsterisland, skull/piratesymbol, aliens, spaceship, robot, personified food/icecream, ghost, bear, guitar, russian dolls, penguin, heart, flowers, fishes, jellyfish, rubber duck, zebra and bunny all rolled into one design.
Sorry I could`t include every clichè I wantet to, and that was suggested to me in critique.
