brentendo

haha funny idea, colour option 1 please

PiTrees

I really like the illustration style, but maybe i'm not 'high society' enough, because i sort of don't get it.

Is picking his nose ok because he's wearing a suit about it?

Why is the dapper dude copying everything the slob does, minus kissattacking that chick?

Don't get me wrong, i really like it and i looove the style, i just don't understand...

PiTrees,

I'm not one to interpret anyone's designs but I think the primary idea is the distinction isn't supposed to clear. Most of what a noble or high society does is just the same. Proper or not, they produce the same results.

Or it could mean nothing...

Good!

mgill52

I love your style

supertrooper74

He should be picking his nose with his pinky.

westicles

Or he should be picking his nose with his pinky out. Love this! Looks great on the shirt!

Cool, I really like your style!

FRICKINAWESOME

I agree, i like the style and the idea here, i just wish the high society side was a bit more innovative, like with the pinky out and such for the nose pick and some other punchline for the bottom right. I'm not sure why it keeps slipping between what is a more proper and civil thing to do from the first two strips as high scoiety but the final one is tilted towards the common slob as being the proper one. Maybe that's the point of it, is that the high society is all about having manners with showy things but as for true love they just take and do as they please with whomever is around? I'm probably overthinking this, but hey, it's what i do. Nice style.

mezo

....I am in art love. Everything is perfect. The "don't getters" are dumb. YEAH, I SAID IT. I might be blinded by the curly stache, but nice concept and design- 4

kako64

Cool !

FRICKINAWESOME

Look at me, I'm mezo, i'm so cool because everything that doesn't have to make sense in her world and is slightly confusing to people who want things that are plainly supposed to make sense as the illustrator intended is the best thing ever!

kyleidoscope

This is really quite funny, the idea would be easy to overdo but you nailed it

PiTrees:
yes, exactly, picking a nose is ok, when you do it in suit with your right hand and left one is holding a martini with it's pinky raised (and of course - a curly mustache is necessary)

the point is that (for example) the nose picking is probably not proper to do at all, but the right column with do's show us how to do it right

frickinawesome:
well as i said before.. the pinky out in nose pick is very good suggestion, i guess this could make the point a bit more obvious

yes, the courtship is reversed but what can you do, the high society dude is just so charming

mezo:
thank you

and thanks to all comments so far
