The shadows are weird. It's like each guitar has it's own light source.
You also forgot to put the shadows of the tuners on the other two guitars. Sorry for being so picky. Just pointing out. |

the tuner shadows made it through so many kritik versions without being noticed and the first thing I noticed after I submitted it and looked was the tuners. I didn't like the look of all the guitars' shadows going out or off to the side so I took the creative licenses to focus the shadows on the keytar to make them more menacing.

FRICKINAWESOME on Feb 27 '09 Yeah i agree about the shadows, but these characters are really awesome man...love the way you took their shape and feeling and made unique characters out of all of them. Aw, poor keytar, it's many things at once but not accepted by any of them. Actually, that gives me an idea for a sub! hehehe, nice work tho, fix those shadows!

What? You mean Thiebaud can do his own thing with shadows and perspective, but Rhode can't...?
Personally, I like the shadows angled that way, because it makes the 'looming over' element a little more emphatic. Of course, it wouldn't be one of my posts if I didn't contradict myself in someway.... I do wish these same awesome shadows didn't break up the surface of the keytar, since it makes him a little harder to read.... But it's good work, nonetheless. |

Effing Keytars. They're like the mermaids of the instrument world. Love how the flying v looks kinda nervous.
My favorite part is how the acoustic looks like he has a handlebar mustache. |
