You are right I should show the bottom or rather the bottom would need to be a continuation of the woodcut "noise" or make the graphic a tad bigger so it could start at the very bottom

I love woodcut. The dark swirl at the top doesn't read as ice cream for me.

responding back real quick.SPOOKYFOX: i had reversed the text /ice cream and didnt like it as much. you may be right about black not reading as ice cream , but for now thats the way it is. for AIF :the text was the impetus for this particular woodcut. i wrote the words down first and then drew the ice cream around them when i arrived at that solution. if that makes sense. thanks for the input so far
