This started life as a photo I took of Christmas lights on a palm tree. I took it into Photoshop and put a bunch of filters on it. I was just playing, having fun, so I didn't record the process and can't reproduce it.
Once I got something I liked, I saw a concept and worked with it more to enhance that.
Mmmm... maybe I shouldn't admit so much.

wow really impactful design, would prefer it on a grey tee, the blue makes it appear like a big cut-out of a painting stuck onto a tee, to me if it were on a grey tee, it would look like a painting as part of the tee. Love the soft brush style, just not the big slab cut-out. The design itself is so strong, it just doesn't need the bold frame made by the blue color to 'bring it out'... it just sorta competes for boldness. Just my humble opinion, though. :) good luck!
