FRICKINAWESOME on Feb 24 '09 This kind of idea has been done several times, but i really like your 3-d optical playing with us, although i'd like a bit more concept going on here, like the wall the moon is set against or nearly against could have some stick-on stars and swirling black holes and etc, maybe with the man carrying up some more stars and such to place around the moon, and then some glow action at night would do the trick here. Also, possibly extending the wire over the shoulder of the hook holding up the moon might be a bit more interesting. Overall, nice work here.

I'd kind of like to see the guy looking up at the moon, so he's interacting with it on some level.
But that might just be wishful thinking on my part. I'd wear this. |

ginetteginette on Feb 24 '09 like evan said, it's not terribly original and i'm normally not a fan of this kind of stuff but the style is just so clean and attractive that i just can't dislike it. personally i wouldn't wear it, but it looks nice and i can definitely see it being popular.

Since you've got your moon on a hook, I'd like to see the rope extend all the way to the top seam. But otherwise, I really like this one.

the moon needs to have a rope or wire holding it up....or else it looks like its just hanging there. this is a good, simple design :]

in reaction to cravonbachs, it'd almost be better with nothing holding it up: our eyes are used to seeing objects, like clocks and picture frames, "just hanging there".
but i think it's just awesome how it is!! 5$ |
