This is a piece I recently did that is meant to instigate thought about things greater than ourself. It is a hand drawn illustration and is made up of only 3 colors. The whole idea comes from the notion that sometimes, we rely on ourselves too much to get through trials, when in truth, we may not have the strength to get through it by ourself. The whole idea of "Get Up"...can be anything you want it to be. Wether it is God, friends, family, love...whatever....these things are here to help us. They're here so that we don't have to go through life on our own. They're here to give us strength when we can't muster it up on our own. The tree represents hard times (that's why it looks like its dying). The wings represent the strength that exists in the things outside of ourselves. I know its kind of deep, but I think its a good message.

yeah i actually originally placed it like that...(large and at the bottom). It definitely was cool, i just did it like this cause i thought it might appeal to more people. I certainly haven't shut out that idea though.
