Love the design. But I agree, maybe a different color tshirt.

I really like this design, it definitely caught my eye. I think it would look good on a darker color.

I agonised over the background colour for a while. Whatever works..

great illustration but get someone to help you with the photoshop part. if you have illustrator:

1) scan your drawing at 300 or 600dpi (depending on detail)

2) take the original image and clean it up in photoshop so the lines are really clean and there is minimum "noise" behind the graphics (the clean paper part)

3) drop into adobe illustrator

4) go to the object dropdown menu and click on "live trace"

5) you'll want to fiddle with the settings here and hit "preview" to check and see if you like it before accepting the trace

6) go get a snack: when you get back, you should have vectorized artwork

7) click the "live paint" icon in the toolbar. this will make it so that you can fill the pieces of your artwork, just like a coloring book.

Perhaps blue for the tempest "shape" on white background? The purple doesn't work for me...
