We have a funny male cat that we named Kitty, (seriously-how unoriginal is that?). Almost everyday when I see him I will do this mock punch / fight thing with him like a movie fight scene complete with the "peeesk" punch sound I make. Kitty non nonchalantly meows and looks perturbed.



Stupid, yes, but it is just something I do because I am wierd.



That single act of stupidity is the inspiration for "Punching Kitty".



Kitty is accosted by two thugs but you should be careful who you pick on. Not only does Kitty engage in abdominal strengthening exercises, (he can take a stomach punch better than Houdini!), he is expert in 8 fighting styles.



The t-shirt is a three act play, the main scene, the shadow which portends of things to come and the back scene where Kitty impishly stares at the viewer with the slightest grin on his face knowing that he has just kicked ass!

watto- I cannot believe you picked up on that. the initial sketches had someone who looked a lot like my neighbor jose but i show all my sketches to my brother who is a great artist and works with graphics as a profession. he is this crazy rocky fan, watches all of them ad nauseam and any thing having to do with punching or fighting he likes to pay homage to rocky so he begged me to have rocky holding kitty. I said- no waaaay but he worked on me and I did put some rocky in there although I covered him up with the facial hair and stuff- I thought it would just be my bro's and my inside joke!

I would love this to get printed because a) it made me laugh out loud and not many designs do that, and b) I feel threadless needs an injection of designs which are not so 'nicey nice' and cute!!
