i like the design, and i can tell you put some time in it, but i wouldn't wear it.. it gets a 5 though

i design for kids? maybe... i remember i got this idea a long time ago becuase i was thinking about that short-lived puppet dr. sues show on nickelodeon. i only ever saw one episode, and there was this song in it that went "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. if you put a fence betwwen ya you loose your common sence. the grass looks greener. the moon looks better. you could even swear that the water looks wetter, cause the grass is aways greener on the other side of the fence."
so yeah, it could be a kids shirt. but i think adults would like it too. |

i actually love this design. it has something worth saying, and its executed nicely. although its edged it doesn't feel restrained, and it does not seem that childish, nor naive as was mentioned above.

nice idea, bad font. Holiday from Maniakers, if I'm not mistaken. Consider using a less played out font, and like you said, tweaking the deer head.

Please lose the deer head. Everywhere I look I see either a deer head with a chain, some drippy circles/clouds, a gas mask, or some crappy home-made font....BE ORGINAL. Besides the deer head, go back to the drawing board with this design and you might have a winner. The concept is great, just re-work the way you present it and you might have good art! 5 for concept -1 for execution.

actually, redrobot, it's CRAYON from maniackers. ;) which is basically just holiday with a little texture. i didn't know it was so played, as you put it. but i trust you, becuase that is a great font.
timothy, that head was awesome, but i think it was some kind of weird antilope. which is an interesting idea: doing nonamerican animals. or maybe animals from all around the world to get the idea of not having borders. hmmmm... thanks for the inspiration! |

Hallmark card? Also- is this a shirt about opening up borders and ditching homeland security because there's no grass in Iraq and I ain't about to wear a shirt saying it'd be better if there was.

wow hanta... i have no idea what you were trying to say. this has nothing to do with iraq at all. i think i did the origanal design for this before we even went into iraq... but i could be wrong there. the de-fence was a play on words. As for being a little halmark cardy, i'll give you that one.

I hate fences. The t-shirt idea is great along with the text. But I think that the illustration and the text type are too cute, but I would buy it anyway. Cuz it's great eather way.
