FRICKINAWESOME on Feb 07 '09 Yup, this is littleclyde's and yup, it is indeed beyond awesome. I like this version better than the previous one, such a nice use of a darker color palette to give off a tiny bit of creepy vibe to go with the oddly cute and cuddly characters.

jacobsomething, I do! I had mentioned on the first version that this is inspired by a variety of things, including miyazaki and japanese woodblock prints. I just love the moods he captures in his imagery. |

I didnt see your V.1, but the first time I saw this design, I thought of Miyazaki instantly - only he manages to create spooks that are as cute as theyre supposed to be creepy. Loved your first printed work too - almost similar style to this, wasnt it?
