 For the 18-year period (1990-2007), 82,057 strikes were reported to the FAA. Birds were involved in 97.5 percent of the reported strikes, terrestrial mammals in 2.1 percent, bats in 0.3 percent and reptiles in 0.1 percent. The Birds counter that the planes are hitting them.

Very nice. I'd like some further info on the .01% reptile strikes. That's nearly 5 times per year for the last 2 decades that a plane has been hit by a reptile. Explaining that would make a nice shirt as well…

Zergaloth, I drew it by hand, pencil on newsprint. Each object is a separate illustration, so I could easily move things without redrawing. Then I "inked" each illustration on tracing paper with a finepoint Sharpie. I then scanned all of them into Photoshop and put the line art for each piece on its own layer. I then did the colors on their own layers underneath the line art layers. I used a wacom tablet for the shading with the pencil brush set on 5 pixels. It took awhile, but I really enjoyed it. oh photoshop is it? really nicely done. shading with the pencil brush is really courageous, but it pays off, it creates a unique look. reminds me of old woodcut prints and retro logo designs. well chosen colors as well. the only thing that bugs me a bit is the obvious halftone in the lower left corner.
