This shirt is about being happy with yourself, your appearance, your position, whatever. Everyone knows peacocks are beautiful, but that doesn't mean all birds should be peacocks. You might be a completely fine chicken and there's nothing wrong with that. Just be happy. No need to stick fancy feathers in your butt.

yknow, I was going through the old derbies this week (what with the double-take) and thought "hmm, JW should do something with that peacock".

Mind reader.

Chickens have to be extra scrappy so they DON'T get eaten - so inside maybe they're more complex than the peacocks. Or maybe the chicken needs to pull that feather out and start running.
