Hey can anyone out there check this design that I submitted and that was rejected by the 2 jakes and tell me if it offends them, or if they find it inappropriate in any way, shape or form.

i seriously thought that "Outbreak Kojak" would get rejected, not the design that is promoting a good cause. Ah well :/

at least i'm not the only person who submits on here strictly for the conversation value of a piece.

... was rejected because of the printing area. Is to big for the printing plate. I guess. It's not ofensive... not for me. That is why I thing that the problem is the total area to print. E-mail them and ask? ;)

At first glance it appeares to be a typical bald-pated inbred english football hooligan wearing a carpentry mask, but now I see it..yeah, a germ-phobic Kojak. Sweet. Who loves ya baby? Me, that's who. Even like the colours.

In what way anistrophic? copyright on girl fridays design, or on the image she downloaded and then traced in illustrator? I don't see how I'm breaking any copyright standard. The only similarity between "outbreak girl" and "outbreak kojak" is the dust mask, the neck and tatt, and the colour of the shirt. And just a reminder.. this is a piss take. Do you know what that means???

this is an ironic statement, a joke. i got it, and had a good chuckle. not many people on here get irony or sarcasm, though, in my experience.

the face angle and the mask angle are different , they don't really match perfect ... or maybe i am too tired :)

an artist may hold copyright over their style...

designs posted in this forum are supposed to be submitted with the intent to win the threadless competition, thus the voting. what if this actually got printed?

it's not like this is an automated system and the highest scoring shirt gets sent directly to press by robot oompa-loompas...

even if this got an average score of 4.9 with everyone choosing 'i'd buy this,' it's still up to the site's creators what does and does not get printed. hell-the judging part only helps them determine what would be economically viable for them to print, and they still get to print up anything they want (including designs that scored lower than others).

true, but if they cared to go through every pile of crap that everyone here posted, you think they'd have outlined submission rules?

And for f$cks sack it is in no way breaching any copyright standards. To make the comment like anistrophic that you can copyright a "style" is ludicris. If that were the case everyone on threadless would be breaching copyright.

I'd say there would be probably over 300 people submitting and only 4 styles between them all.. get a grip people
