Lovely mute colours. Lovely stylised technique. Your colour advisors are right in suggesting that palette - it doesnt compete with your technique - rather it allows your skillful rendering of form and feather to stand out. Also love that it seems to suggest of a traditional story about a boy who cares for wild birds. Good work! A five!

The thing you have going for you with this particular technique is that it triggers fond childhood memories for a lot of people. i remember owning a felt embroidered owl puppet with scalloped fringing around the eyes just like that. i were you, id develop a series. quick, do it before i give it to my itch to do it ;-)
