I think the text could be smaller or place it on the bottom. The idea is great. I love the bishop it looks like it's about to piss it's pants!

Thanks for the comments. I don't think I would move or resize the text, but that's just me. Putting it underneath the image, for one, would completely ruin the flow of the composition.

I wish this illustration had some nice texture filters or something.... Love the idea so much but the graphic looks a bit too dull for me to wear it. I also think the placement is a little odd... maybe the space between the illustration and text is too small. $4, but would be $5 with more work.

I'm a chess player, and I think this would be THE COOLEST shirt to ever have in the whole entire universe. it just looks really awesome, and the message inside of it is SOOOO cool!!!! The Pawns Rebel! Amazing Job.

I'm of the belief that this would have much more humour mileage as "Pawn'd", which would play off the "pwned" meme while making the punchline clearer.

Honestly, I don't mean to be ungrateful, but if you think the text is unnecessary you don't get the concept. Nearly all of the humor is the text as it relates to the image. Without the text there's no joke.
