The personification of the american flag about to eat the world.

What the hell is this even trying to say?

Wow, the designer is genius and wise. Perfect!

I absolutely love the concept. Only color could make it better (and maybe the slight enlargement of the world or an adjustment of placement).

But I still love it!

I agree with most of you, this does seem like I'm trying to make some huge overplayed satement, but this was just a drawing where my pencil didn't stop until I was done, I'm sure a lot of you know how that can go. I was just introduced to this site, by a friend saying that this design would sell, we'll see. I made a color mock but it just didn't look right in front of any of the color templates, so I ended up with what we see here. I'll be putting more stuff up in the future, stuff that I think will be more "welcomed." Thanks for the feedback though, the more brutally honest the better.

I won't be buying any anti-American shirts. Take your politics elsewhere.

While I'd argue that justifiable protest is possibly the MOST American thing anyone can do, I also don't think Threadless is the place for it. It doesn't really give that flavor, and I've never seen anything more than subtly or incredibly broadly political print 'round these parts. Regardless of the shirt's intention, it definitely gives off that vibe, and I think that'll hurt its chances

Purely compositionally, this would benefit from gentle, subtle flashes of color... a deep blue and red for the flag, and a more organic blue and green for the earth. As a drawing, the style is quite nice.

Nice teeth, but not very subtle. Prefer subtle political messages on clothing.

stylistically, it would look better if you had vectorized the image, so that it doesn't like a pencil sketch. it's actually a real cool design, and would be cool on a skateboard or something like that, but it looks not quite finished; not quite something i'd want to wear, yet.

Good personification, overdone / simple concept - Is the world not also busy chasing the American Dream..?

I can see why alot of you would say that this is anti-american- however, you have to see the reality. The reality is that the United States, being the only superpower in the world at the moment, is forcing its way on others. I believe that's what this shirt is representing.

I like this shirt BECAUSE it critisizes the U.S., because how is America ever going to improve unless we critisize it?

i like it. and if anybody cant understand the message you might want to educate yourself.

its not saying americans are bad; it's the government hindering global advancement versus nuturing it.

Not a personal insult kids.

bold concept.
