Excellent illustration, I think it would look better on a lighter colour tee though. 5 from me.

Thanks everyone... All of the colours that Threadless has for their Ts are a bit yuk. If they actually printed one of my designs though, I'm sure different colours could be arranged. k ;-)

Kitty- Very swanky and jet-set. but why dont you make use of the background color in the design...it will unify things and cut down on colors.

Lose the Bauhaus font - get something thicker and less overused like House Industries Chalet series....

Don't know what timothypedersen (interestingly without any submissions) is on about? Seriously? If you're looking at my earlier submissions I can see how you might erroneously come to the conclusion that I have miraculously improved through deceitful methods, but my first submissions were really just trying to find my feet as I had never designed T shirts before. I am however a qualified graphic designer and I use the site to practice my vector work as I am mostly Photoshop based, and hopefuly receive some constructive criticism in return. To submit someone elses work as my own would be completely pointless in my view.

If, as a few people have said, the design is something similar to what they've seen before it is TOTALLY coincidental. This was not my intention. If you look at most of the designs submitted on this site, including ones that have been printed you'll find that there are many sources influencing our work (just look at the Pratestation sticker sheet and then look at Designers Republic stuff and you'll see. I am not meaning to single this design out, it is only one example of many). I don't deny that I gather inspiration from other peoples work, if I didn't I think I'd be a lesser designer because of it. It's all a part of research and having your eyes open to what is already out there is a part of this. Is this acceptable, I don't know?

As someone once said "Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun." We can only keep trying to make ourselves better. If we never try, we will never succeed.
