I like the look of this simple but bold design but I have no idea what it is about. It is cute and demonic at the same time but is it a reference to something specific?

geekqueen is right. Cthulhu has been referenced in many, many things. You've got your literature nerds, your sci-fi nerds, your game nerds, internet nerds, music nerds, comic nerds, etc.. Being a nerd myself, I'd definitely buy it and wear it! Especially if it glows in the dark.
