The concept is cool and the textures are impressive, but the layout and shape of the log bugs me. The reasons are 2-fold:
1. It is too erect and the hat looks like a condom.
2. The barks kinda look like drips which makes me think a a turd got tossed in the fire and is melting.
But those issues could be gone with a few alterations! I also think this design could benefit from a few pops of red (maybe tongues in the log and fire mouth?)

Cool idea, now that I know what it is .. I thought it was a smelly something else ....

For me the bark/tree looks too happy! And the uppest part...dunno for me it looks like a bonnet. But I really like the theme.

I agree, I thought this was a piece of flaming shit when i first saw it, and I mean that literally NOT saying this is a bad piece of work! hehehe. I agree with Mezo about how upright it's sitting, but once i knew what it was I thought it was really awesome! Just work on the positioning a bit and you've got a red-hot winner methinks.
