pretty cool. I'm thinking I might like it better without the type, curious to see what other think about the text.

FRICKINAWESOME on Jan 21 '09 The type is what elevates this design from a random shirt-terpretation of lined paper to something original and amazing. I love the subtleness of the type, it blends in so well with the rest of the design but doesn't overstate its welcome. Makes me wanna go back to school for a day and scribble all over the shirt for the final.

Great idea. Not too crazy about the text as I don't think its needed to make the design. Other than the text pitfall, its simple, catchy and highly clever. :)

I can't even begin to understand why anyone would want to get rid of the text. That would be like trying to draw a tiger without stripes. KEEP THE TEXT! If I had to change anything, I would make the red lines a little more subtle. Well done.

I like it with the text, I just don't know why someone would particularly want a shirt that says "don't forget to take notes." Are you really into notes or something? I just feel like this was an awesome design and the words were just something to put on it. If it was something funny or clever or otherwise interesting, I'd say keep the text, but as it is, I don't know why it's there. I love the way you did the lettering, though.

i like the idea of the text...the only thing is that particular font requires particular attention to read - i'd consider getting this shirt, and it's very, very unique...i'm not even sure, but it's possible i'd prefer some sort of scribbly cursive diagonally across the blue lines...idk. great work though.

thanks guys, my original idea was to have a bunch of doodles filling the shirt around the same text 'don't forget to take notes.' Because many people doodle and not take notes. Then i came up with this type idea and thought it would work just as well with blank paper. As a reminder to the onlooker not to just stare at a blank sheet of notebook paper but to get started!
