This illustration is good.
I just wish the monster was more prominent. It could have been so more epic and scary. As of now, it kinda looks like you placed the mouth and eyes in there as an after thought. |

I took me a moment too...I thought it was just horrific because the reel messed up and the film was on the floor. He needs arms or something.

FRICKINAWESOME on Jan 12 '09 I agree, great idea and style to this, but the film monster needs to be more epic, perhaps even its mouth opening up and a light emitting from it not unlike what a film projector does to the film, but this time the film itself would be burning the man who projects the film images!

i like the idea. the monster needs to pop out a teeny tiny bit more. maybe with like hand shapes like a guy under a sheet. But just a little.

igo2cairo on Jan 16 '09 I have to agree with the comments about the film monster. It would have been cool if it had more swirling movement as if it were coming to life, with maybe two arms raised. And I like FA's idea of light coming from it's mouth and maybe it's eyes too!
Having said that I totally love the style, colour palette and concept. A solid 4, but if you re-sub this with an improved monster it'll be a $5 for sure. |

Yeah. The dude in the background is way too subtle. Maybe some threatening arms, bigger mouth and touch more shadow.
