I've got a number of ideas kicking about my head lately that I've been planning to take the time and really do justice to, but while talking to some friends about the Joy of Text contest, I thought I'd put up an old design, just for fun. I hold no illusions that this will perform as well as some truly great entries I've seen up, but I figured, no harm in seeing how it fares.

A 4-color ninja made of words. I chose the word whimsical because of his kinda cute nature, because the word cute wouldn't fit across his forehead, and because I like the word whimsical. I thank you for any honest feedback, but will settle for dishonest $5-s as well.

My question is why it's yielding "your" katana blade. 'Tis a neat design though - I like the red L for a splash of colour.

How badly does it have to score to be pulled early? e_e

1. it is a homage to the ninja, so it's like someone looking up at a balcony saying "beautiful woman, with your hair as gold as the sun". Only it's a ninja.

2. it would need to score pretty consistently bad, i think. But I don't want to find out for sure!

I didn't notice that the words actually form a ninja at first, but that aspect definitely puts this design at the top for me.

Why the "your"? Why not a "his" or "a"?

A tad bigger methinks, but overall a really convincing image made off of a somewhat complex set of words to make such a cohesive piece!

^^Bigger is certainly cool by me. If by some chance this ever printed, threadless could do whatever it wished with it

Thanks for the support guys... not a great score, but worth it to get a feel for where things stand. I'm just glad to be able to last a whole week off it. Hope to bring my A-game with a proper submission or two some time soon.
