Nice... Try a a different shirt color so the flower and bird stand out more, and possible make the bird more of a blue-ish color. Don't get rid of the bird, it gives the shirt more of a point rather than just an origami flower... The birds face looks a bit odd, it might just be his eyebrows. Great idea though. Oh! It might could use some sort of background or something, but if your going for really simple, then forget that part then...
