There have been a number of versions of the song. I thought that I remembered a goat in there somewhere, too, but that verse was nowhere to be found on the version of the song that I looked up.

If the shirts were too similar, Threadless wouldn't have put this one into the running. Though the base of the inspiration is the same, the two shirts are vastly different stylistically and story-wise and appeal to different types of people.
