About my design

by ounom
Lesbians have over time claimed the black triangle as a symbol of defiance against repression and discrimination, and it is considered a counterpart to the gay pink triangle. Today, it is as a lesbian symbol that the black triangle is most widely recognized.

Now they claim this shirt.

maybe just because I've never seen the black triangle before, but...

it kind of reminds me of one of those 3-color highlighter triangles, but a sharpie or something

perhaps I'm just woefully ignorant, but maybe there's a way to bring the point across stronger

You subbed the same design twice.

not widely recognized. the rainbow is, not the triangle.

i queer you too!

the shirt design itself may not be educational but i'm sure people who don't know the meaning of the black triangle will ask questions.

I've never heard of the black triangle thing :/

The concept is ok, the design leaves a bit out. At least hand-letter your own text to start off with. Keep working on it.

oops...i asked the same question twice and was not patient enough to wait for an answer.

the design would certainly have a very limited audience.

dude, way more appealing than a black triangle would be a t-shirt that references "the lavender menace." ready.... go!

I still think a rainbow triangle would be best, it'd appeal to both gay men and women. You're still alienating the straight audience though, and more people are straight than gay; it's a hard sell for a site like this. Even with high scores I don't think Threadless would choose to print it.

I'm gay, I like it and I'd buy it. Shame it hasn't gone through.

I'd also buy a rainbow triangle variant and ones that said I [heart] her - or him for the lads - too.
