About my design

by cameron kim jones
The destruction of wildlife habitats across the world is a serious thing indeed. But, with all the Media attention on the 'big players' in the environmental game, being the whales, elephants and panda's. Sometime the little guy gets left out.

The common apple worm is one of them. Day by day thousands of worms are left homeless and forced needlessly onto the street. And yet the media stays silent. The issue discreetly swept under the rug by politicians and government authorities. Why I ask? Would I be paranoid in thinking this could be...a conspiracy?

I'll leave that for you, the readers, to decide. Hopefully Threadless won't also be pressured by government agencies into withdrawing this thought provoking and controversial article.

Thank you, the Threadless Public and remember,

Think Before You Eat.

It's not earthworm jim. It's not meant to be either. I drew about 20 worms for the design and his was the angriest.

It's an appleworm, it looks nothing like Jim - you guys just think all worms look the same - outrageous!

I like it - it's fun.

I agree, just the front graphic, perhaps with it being held up by a person that has a mouthful of the apple from the other side and the worm screaming bloody murder would be a better way to illustrate the idea you are going for.

Maybe they're just forced out of the apples and into the soil where they belong?

I was gonna go just the graphic with the worm. I think you can't make it too self explanatory, but you can't make it too vague. It's making the viewer think slightly that I like and not pointing out the flaming obvious.

And no Malcolm, they do not go into the soil. It is well documented by many scientist, in many findings that they do indeed swear at you.
