I used to have one of those! One night though, I said good night and when I came back in the morning he was gone! I cleaned my whole house looking for him, but I couldn't find him! I then concluded that he was abducted by aliens. This rocks!

Bettas actually jump out of their bowls. Pretty frickin far. It's amazing.
In the wild they literally puddle jump to get to larger bodies of water. They can breath oxygen, but dry up as fast as fish tend to dry up... They should be content with the happy home youve created, as it has plenty of room, but they get confused easily too. It helps if you have something floating on top of the water so they can tell where the surface is. |

FRICKINAWESOME on Jan 07 '09 incredible movement on these words, i swear they are swimming about the fabric! Not a fan of fish really (nothing against them, just not an extra bit of love that id' wear them on a tee spelling out their name), but superb work on this.

I love Betta's! I've had the same one for a good 2 years now... Name's Mrs. Fred. Does tricks (only when hungry) haha!

I used to have one..good 'ol Killer. He nearly committed suicide several times, may he rest in peace in that big fishbowl in the sky. :P

lol... I actually can hold my pointer finger above the water and ove it around, he'll follow it... Then if I put it close to the water, he'll jump out of the water and nip at my finger (which I'm sure he does this only cause he thinks I'm feeding him) lol But its cool, everyone here at work gets a kick out of it!
He's such a kick ass fish... In the mornings when I come in to work, he's there swimming around towards me... Like he's trying to get to me, but just can't... How long have you had your fish? |

Sometimes, he lets me pet him.. ( I know that sounds weird) but he actually stays still...
