About my design

by phusebox
Our everyday life consists of noise, and noise alone. Most of us seek patterns in this noise, some are succesful, some are lost in the search...

this would be pretty nice without the text, as a graphic piece printed it would be fine but not for a shirt

Monochromatic colors are all the hues (tints and shades) of a single color. Monochromatic noise... not even sure what that is. at any rate neither is correctly used, so why the text?

thanks for the comments. Maybe I should get rid of the text, but I guess it would feel empty by just removing the text.

Monochromatic noise is noise in one colour range, say black/white and shades of grey in between.

It is a 'contradiction in termini' (I don't know the correct English term): the name and text suggest monochromatic noise or life as it sometimes seems. Just noise, a crowd of people and no-one standing out. The graphics are the opposite, out of the box, bright, vibrant and every detail tries to stand out.

Oooh look who's so profound. -_-'

It would be better if it was just an abstract design and you didn't try to extract some "deep" meaning from it.

I like it the way it is with the text in it. I think it adds something a little more to it.

it looks like this was easy to do. very cut and paste. or just brushes. not a lot of work onto it. i duno..

even so... i like the vertical text on the right. cool composition and colors also. i'd probably still wear this shirt.

Thanks for all the great comments! The chance it will get printed is really really slim, I know, but I just wanted to give it a go. At least I am itching to make a new design because of the positive comments.

And just because it looks easy, doesn't mean it was, but hey easy is just relative. And even if it was really easy; it's the final product that counts for me.

I'd definitely wear this style of shirt, but I almost wish the text said something else. It's very pretty, though and lots of people are likely to enjoy the colour/style. :)

Text, I have learned now, is even more personal than graphics. Maybe I can alter the design by removing/replacing the text, if it were to get a good score
