jmonkey (and most others), I appreciate your criticism. However, I'm sure everyone who submits designs would agree when I mention that it would be a lot more helpful if, along with your negative comments, you left some constructive ones too. For instance, what about the font is so terrible? What color other than pink would you suggest, and what size would be more appropriate. These types of comments would be much more helpful in my quest towards designing a worthy T. Mille grazie

The font makes it look a bit too congested. What if you spaced it out? Put part of the quote along the head? Another part along...somewhere else, or something like that.



The colors also don't seem to fit with the theme...

the image is defintiely too big, but is interesting. look down at yourself and imagine imagine it going completely across your torso. for the subject of the quote the color and font seems a bit cheery. that's about all for constructive criticism, we can comment, can't re-design it for you.

In high school, that shade of pink is grounds for a culture war, or massacre. Real creative though. Awesome design. A bit heavy though huh? That's genius how the back of the head looks like hair has been pulled out. It deserves a 5. i aggree about the quote, it looks a little like a text box in a power point slide show. There's no reason for it to be left justified. Maybe if it were hand written, follwing loosely the lines of the neck or hair it would be more interesting? The size is essential though. You're definitely on to something, good work man.

I would also like to say that your design portfolio only backs up your status as a worthy source of criticism. sounDune your shirt is quite ingenius in that one gets the feeling that the person on the shirt is looking inside the wearer. The quote would be better on the neck so its only two lines and maybe a more casual font is in order. Don't be discouraged by people like z burn it down z. You just have to understand that hateration is cyclical, and he is lashing out because his shirt averaged a 1.9 so he feels he needs to justify it by bashing other's works. All of the worlds problems stem from a low self esteem. I can almost guarantee he will have another elegant comment to further give us a preview his character. Well just fine tune the shirt and you might have a winner.

InTEK, thanks for the moral support. It bothers me that my submission has turned into a forum for petty bickering, although I can't say I am exempt from blame for that misfortune, as I should have simply ignored Z's original hateful remark. In my momentary distraction with this pest I had forgotten what the point of this website is. Obviously this is not some message board designed for confrontation but a place to submit had have criticized your t-shirt designs. I had forgotten for a moment. I did not expect for my very first submission to put me off on such a bad foot. However, people like Z are a problem, but it's true that problems like Z are to be found in every walk of life. I don't know what it was about my submission that sparked such hate in him/her, but I do know that that kind of lashing out is not normal and perhaps a sign, as you mentioned, of something emotionally/personally wrong with this person. But, I do not claim to be a psychologist, only a member of society and voyager in this journey we call life, and from my many experiences on the road I have encountered enough people like Z to know that they are troubled. There was no reason whatsoever for his spite. It would interest me very much to see how Z would react towards me in person...I am almost sure he would not have the self confidence or courage to say to me what he writes now.
